On behalf of Seymour Schools and Coach Harvey Catlin, the CTMSDL invites you our second event of the 2025--2026 season.
Novice and Open Level debaters will debate on both sides of the prep-ahead motion:
This House would establish a permanent host city for the Winter Olympics and a permanent host city for the Summer Olympics.
Please review the June 2024 Handbook. It is up to coaches to decide which category (Novice or Open) is appropriate for each of their teams. For Round 3, both novice and open level debaters will debate a different motion extemporaneously.
Please email jen.posner@ctmsdebate.org and let us know if your school is likely to attend. Coaches should register on Tabroom.com for the event CTMSDLDec13 by 10 am Thursday, Dec 11. That’s the deadline to purchase Tabroom entries. You may edit your teams up until 9:00 am Dec 13. Instructions on using Tabroom can be found here. There is no cap on the number of teams a school may enter.
